Collection: Buckfast Queens

Our F1 Buckfast queens are sourced from one of the best suppliers in Europe. We bring them to the UK ourselves to ensure the minimum travel time possible. The bees are fed with honey on arrival and next day after inspection, the cages are swapped and the new bees are fed with honey in order to take care of the queen and minimize stress.

Buckfast lines are selected hybrids with characteristics that have been developed to fulfil the needs of the modern beekeeper, whether commercial or hobbyist.  These lines are suitable for many types of beekeeping including breeding, honey, pollen and royal jelly production.  

Depending on the line selected, the colonies can be medium to very large in size giving the opportunity for the beekeeper to choose the line relevant to their operation.

Please note, we can only deliver to mainland UK only. Please do not order queens if you live outside the mainland.

Dispatch day is the day we send out the queens, please bear this in mind when choosing the day on the order. Friday dispatch for Saturday delivery is £5.00 extra.

Please make sure there is someone at home when a queen delivery is expected.  We will not replace queens that arrive dead because the Royal Mail was unable to deliver on their first attempt.
