Orders of breeder queens can't be shipped with other queens or products.
We use special next day delivery by 1 pm. We can't guarantee the service of Royal Mail. Tracking information is sent on the day of dispatch and you must ensure there is somebody available to accept delivery.
Artificially Inseminated (AI) Breeder Queens – Surcharge & DOA Policy
Artificially inseminated breeder queens are supplied under the following terms:
1. Non‑Refundable Surcharge All AI breeder queens include a non‑refundable surcharge of £75, which covers the specialist costs of instrumental insemination, selection, and handling. This surcharge is non‑refundable under all circumstances.
2. DOA Notification Requirements If a breeder queen arrives dead, you must notify us within 2 hours of delivery by email, including a clear photo or video showing the queen inside the cage with attendants. The queen must then be returned to us in the original packaging at your expense.
3. Refund Terms for DOA Queens AI breeder queens are a special order product and therefore cannot be replaced. Once the queen is received and verified DOA, we will issue a refund of the queen price only, minus the non‑refundable surcharge. If the queen arrives dead on a second/subsequent delivery attempt because first delivery was missed the DOA policy is invalidated and there are no refunds.
4. No Refunds After Acceptance Once the queen has been released from the cage or accepted by the colony, no refunds or compensation are offered for any reason, including failed introduction, drone‑laying, supersedure, or colony behaviour.
